    Description

    Very Rare Antique late 19th century/early 20th century Japanese Banko pottery gray clay pottery large size teapot; excellent craftsmanship of hand molded teapot. Decorated with a Pentagon shape thin layer clay, and a small 3 dimensional crown as the lid finial. The lid finial turns and swivels. Painted Pheasant and flowers on sides, and a Peony bud on the lid. Meshed metal handle. Very unique and one of a kind. Artist marked. Teapot top and spout tip painted in gold color.
