INCLUDED IN THIS KIT: Black Body hard anodized. Switch Hole .259 inches (for 7mm push button), 3 holes .059 inches opposite for air release (breaks vacuum and allows cap to seat and remove) OR adding sound. Clear interior body cavity is 1.88 inches diameter x .98 high with cap installed. A Lota space for a sound board that you provide.
Body Cap; machined aluminum with 3/8 motor hole and neoprene O-Ring and O-ring groove for securing and removing top FROM BLACK BODY and. a Groove for 1 inch outer fixed acrylic tube to seat into.
Anodized aluminum is non conductive
on the surface so this kit has few problems with internal short circuits now matter how good or poor your personal prop skills may be.
Bottom Plate; laser and machine engraved, suggest red-dots enamel, red-triangle enamel, white bars enamel, OR flip over for orthodox TOS buffs who prefer a plain bottom. Outer Acrylic one inch diameter and machined to correct height. Inner acrylic 3/4 inch diameter and machined to correct height.
BUILDER TIP: Paint inside of 3/4 inch spinner tube Tamiya Silver Leaf Color before assembly Laser cut 1 inch diameter acrylic outer-cap shipped with protective film. Custom Machined aluminum 3/4 inch inner-spinner-cap with motor boss and set screw included ! (300 rpm)
Three Red pinstripe for 3/4 acrylic. Three Round 3/4" hologram stickers AND Three Round 1" silver stickers for 3/4 diameter inner-acrylic-spinner.
Black top push button momentary switch (suggest nut & washer be painted black by builder, I discard the washer)
Motor DC 3.5 to 4.5 volts at correct 300 RPM for Star Trek with brass gearbox and flat spot on shaft (NEWLY ADDED) comes with pre-soldered leads.
Motor does project-down into clear inner cavity of Black Anodized Body by 3/16 inches (nominal) at 3/8 inches diameter.
Three LR44 Battery Holders as shown (NEWLY ADDED) for 3V or 4.5V set up, also a new 3 battery LR44 holder is now aka the white one.
