    Description

    A mess kit similar to that used by U.S. forces.  Unlike the U.S. ones, there is no stamping on the handle.  The only marking on the mess kit is a paper sticker reading 'Made in Portugal' (sticker is affixed to either bottom or top piece of mess kit).  I was unable to gather any further info on this make of mess kit.  Do not know if made for U.S. forces by Portugal or for their own forces.
