They have some signs of age or use including some marks in the black that may or may not come out, some small scratches and marks. Some rubbing and loss ot finish on the black.     Beautiful Vintage Japanese H.F.T.C. Matte Black on White with Hand Painted 24K Gold Landscape Watermil Artwork Porcelain Tea Set. Covered Teapot, Sugar and Creamer. SEE THE CONDITION NOTES. This is a very RARE and Hard to Find Japanese Antique Set. It appears to be a Kutiani decorated set. Great artwork with lots of colorful details on matte black. See the photos.

    MARKINGS: Marked HANDPAINTED / 24K. G. / H.F.T.C. under the foot. The decoration and borders point these being by Kutani. See the photos

    AGE: Circa early to mid 1900s when the production of lithophane cups ended.
