May 18, 1955: The most beauteous arrival at Idlewood Airport today was the movie star Grace Kelly, winner of an Oscar in the recent Academy Awards, who is shown entering a car at the airport shortly after deplaning. Miss Kelly attended the Cannes Film Festival and later, Paris. In both places her almost constant companion was French actor Jean-Pierre Aumont, whose first wife, actress Maria Montez died some years ago.
