    October 27, 1943: Capt. Clark Gable, erstwhile film actor, faced the press in the Pentagon in Washington. Gable flew operational missions over Europe in B-17s to obtain combat film footage to be used for training purposes, and has just returned to the U.S. Photo is 8 inches by 10 inches in size.
