    Description

    Advertising button from Buster Brown Textiles, Inc. (later, Buster Brown Apparel, Inc.) I am guessing on the date - 1980's. Might be the 1970's but I am positive it is no later than the 80's. I worked for Buster Brown Apparel for 30 years so it is an educated guess.
    This item is from the Buster Brown Apparel Company founded in 1904 in Chattanooga, TN. The company was not affiliated with the Brown Shoe Group of St. Louis, MO. The apparel company made children’s clothes. The shoe group made Buster Brown Shoes. Though not affiliated, some Buster Brown socks were sold in the Buster Brown Shoe Stores. The Buster Brown trademark licensed to Buster Brown Apparel was sold to Kleinert’s of Alabama in 1999.
