Antique~Interior~Pillar~Column~Vintage~Garden~Salvage Post~Oak ?~Upcycle~Project

This is an old column I have had for many years. It was always on my project list to do something special with it. It measures 37 3/4" high, the diameter at the top of the column is 5" and the bottom is 5 3/4". It is in good to fair condition. It would be great for some sort of upcycle project. I believe it is either oak or fir and it was most likely an interior column and part of a built in. There is a small chunk out of the top. View pictures because this is the actual item.
