Antique Huge Chippy Wood Post Square Column Support Salvage 1 Room Schoolhouse

Description

Huge antique wood square column post porch support salvaged from a 1800s-1900s one room schoolhouse slated for demolition.
Measures approximately 95" L x 17 1/2"  x 18 1/2" .  Wood is 1 3/4" thick.
White paint is chippy and alligatored in areas.
Some initials are carved on one side... perhaps by a student.
Imperfections consistent with its age and use, including old nails, holes, dings, dents, wood missing, paint loss, etc.

Extremely weighty.  Amazingly so.
