    Description

    Antique Hand Carved Wooden Column Capital Base. This stunning salvaged piece once served as the foundation of a column. It is a half cut piece of wood, meaning the backside was against the wall with the ornate front facing outwards. This gorgeous pilaster would make a great centerpiece, candle holder, plant stand, or as home decor on a shelf or cabinet. Dimensions: 16 1/2" side to side, 9" front to back, and 5 1/2" tall. Condition: This capital base has some weathering from the elements, cracks in the wood, and chippy/flaky paint, all adding to the charm and character of this primitive piece.
