Nice early decorative antique turned Hardwood newel post. Has brown paint, with red underneath. Possibly cherry. Has a nice acorn top finial. It is a salvaged piece so expect to find nails, nail holes, and small chunks missing.scuffs and scratches. Does have peg & mortise holes on top side and tendon notch on bottom. Overall good solid condition. Please look over the pictures and ask questions when needed. Thanks for looking!
