  • Condition: Very good pre-owned condition; free of chips, cracks, restorations or damage. Some ware on the gold gilding and one dragon only has one eye. This item is not new and may not be flawless. I work diligently to describe my items as accurately as possible, however, as noted this is not a new item! Some photos are taken with a quarter or ruler to give you an idea of the size. Please read below for more detail on condition. I’m selling many of my grannies’ precious treasures she collected over a lifetime and some items I have collected from antique shows, estate sale and garage sales.     Description

    2 RARE VINTAGE MORIAGE
    DRAGONWARE
    LUNCHEON PLATES 7.5 BLUE LUSTER HEAVY GOLD GILDING
    I’m proudly offering for your consideration a vintage set of two Moriage Dragon Ware in Satsuma blue featuring heavy gold gilding and blue enamel luster-ware.
    These are highly detailed with striking colors, dragon finials, and gold accents and raised relief of dragons.
    The dragon eyes are painted blue and orange color fire from his mouth; one has two eyes and the other only one eye.
    The body is high relief gold with a beading gold rim.
    The back of these plates is written in a circle with green lettering, “Hand Painted, Japan with three stars in the center.
    These plates are free of chips, cracks, crazing, repairs or damage; may show slight ware of gold or ware on the dragon relief.
    I’ll let my photos do most of my description since a picture is worth a thousand words.
    Photos are taken with or without a flash and some with quarter to give you a perspective of the size of the item.
    All my items come from a smoke free and pet free home.
    Approximate Measurements:
    7 ½” diameter

    Please keep in mind that all of my items are previously owned, either from my own collection, estate sales or garage sale; unless item is new.
    I am not an expert in vintage china, pottery, glassware or vintage jewelry items.  My knowledge is mostly in Depression and Retro glassware and pottery.
