Antique Victorian Style Newel Post - C. 1890 Quarter-Sawn Oak Architectural Salvage. The dimensions are 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 59" tall and the top to the stair cut-out is 40 3/4". This is a very ornate Victorian style square complete newel post with recessed panels, egg and dart molding and a very ornate top and finial. This newel post has the original shellac (varnish) finish with an absolutely beautiful aged patina. This newel post is in great condition and is ready for installation!
